We established Horizon Media as a full production company in March of 2020. However, we started our video journey with small short films and personal videos in the Spring of 2014 during our Sophomore year of High school. This is were our passion for video started. However we made our decision to start a video company in the fall of 2019. We have filmed 100+ events now and love what we do!

YES! We offer what we call a "Raw footage documentary" This is all of your footage from your wedding day compiled into a long documentary-style video. It is "raw" meaning exactly what we filmed is what you get. No special coloring, music, or transitions. It would include your full ceremony, speeches & dancing. We have had raw footage documentaries ranging from 30 minutes all the way up to 4 hours. This is what makes us different from others as we include the raw footage documentary at no additional cost.

We can provide drone footage and incorporate it into your film. However, we do have a couple of restrictions under FAA restrictions (Drone Police) we are not allowed to fly indoors and within 5 miles of an airport or incarceration facility. Please do keep this in mind in case your wedding is located near any of these locations. 

Horizon Media is currently a Husband and Wife film team. We both have extensive knowledge on video work and are both fully capable of filming your big day either as a team or individually. In the scenario, both of us can't make it to your event you are entitled to a full refund as well as assistance with helping find a new videographer.

Audio is one of the key things that makes a wedding film. It drives your story and helps bring the true emotion from your wedding day. From your vows or love letters to each other to a speech from a parent or your best man/maid of honor. Of Course! At this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are limiting our in-person consultations. We are located in the Chicagoland area. Some of our clients can be halfway across the country so we would always go with a video consultation via Zoom first! Camera shy? That is fine we can also just do a phone call! Yes and no. In the summer of 2022, Horizon Media made the addition of Photography to our video production business. However, at this time we are not taking on wedding photography for the 2022/2023 season. We will be including this at a later time to offer full photo + film packages so stay tuned and follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay updated!

First, we would love to get to know you guys and get more details on your special day. Step one is to fill out our Inquiry form HERE. That way we can see if we're available for your big day! We typically respond within 24 hours. Step two we'll send over our investments collections for you guys to look into. At this time if you have any additional questions we're here to answer them for you. Step three Love what you see and ready to book? We'll get a contract written up and sent your way to look over and sign. Step four You signed, now what? In order to fully save your date we require a non refundable retainer fee of 30%! Step five We have both a signed contract and paid invoice and boom, you're fully booked! One month prior we'll send out a questionnaire and set up a phone call to go over everything!

When you find the right vendor you just know it!! Most vendors get booked between 1-2 years in advance. The sooner the better. Once you decide on who you want to be a part of your vendor team on your day book them. The worst part about our job is sending the "I'm sorry but we're already booked on that day" email.
